The Naked Bolivar is a monument made by Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt and by the engineer Guillermo Gonzál.. Read more »ez Zuleta that is located in the Plaza de Bolívar of the Colombian city of Pereira. The monument was inaugurated in August 1963 on the occasion of the centenary of the city.
It has 14 tons of weight and was cast in bronze in the workshop of Abraham Gonzalez Holguín, in Mexico and then transported by boat from the port of Acapulco.
