Manuel de Salas y Corbalán (June 19, .. Read more »1754 – November 28, 1841) was a prominent Chilean educator and politician, a member of the patriotic camp for the cause of Chile's independence, and is considered one of the founders of the Republic of Chile.

Juan Egaña Risco (Lima, Viceroyalty of Peru, October 31, 1769 - Santiago, April 20, 1836) was a Chilean-Peruvian politician, jurist, writer and the drafter of the Constitution of 1823.
