His works are characterized by a wide use of iron and aluminum as structural and formal material, joining their sheets and parts using nuts and screws. His sculptures are also characterized by the use of geometric elements and compositional rigour. There are several sculptures of him in the public areas of Bogotá, Medellín and Valencia.
